The Crucible – RECON – Part 2 This month’s RECON focuses on the culminating field exercise conducted at the end of Marine Corps boot camp known as “The Crucible.” Recon, an original Pentagon Channel series, is a monthly half-hour informational television program providing an in-depth look on a variety of topics from real world operations, missions, military events / history and other subjects highlighting the accomplishments of US military men and women.
