Per these requests, I have posted this video in which I demonstrate a rapid version of progressive relaxation. The traditional progressive relaxation induction can take 15 to 20 minutes or more. This modified version takes approximately 3-4 minutes. _______________________________ While I was traveling in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, I stopped to workout late in the evening at a gym where I met Aaron, one of the gym’s front desk attendants. While chatting with him briefly, I noticed that he displayed several characteristics of a person who could be quite easily hypnotized. When I mentioned this to him, he said he was interested in experiencing hypnosis, and eagerly volunteered to be hypnotized. This video shows the initial modified progressive relaxation induction I used to help him reach the state of hypnosis.
