@AmericanSD: You can explore a lot on your own to begin with, you can as well attend one of my coaching events, also working on DVDs and a book which will make it easier to many to discover the MovNat method, but that is a great amount of upstream work so thanks for your patience.

@Ogasso Not long on their own, a decent time among other members of their tribe. You don’t need to look back that far to find populations still living ancestral life-ways and unless they are endangered by modern civilization, they live healthily, freely and happily.

Hello everyone
I kinda just started with this sort of training, and its freaking awesome! I climb trees and climb small “mountains” and run up hills and carry heavy treebranch thingys for a period of time. I swim in the lake and ride my bike and run etc and it is freaking fun and awesome training! I reccomend everyone this sort of training.
Tho be careful if you are going to climb trees and stuff, make sure you don’t fall and don’t climb trees u don’t think u can climb etc.

@jokergd MovNat is not just what you see in this video, i.e free, solo natural movement in nature. It is also and above all the coaching and training method that enables you to develop optimum skills in a safe manner (or environment) especially if you’re a beginner or not fit. It is fully scalable, means that it is accessible to all beginners.

@AmericanSD It depends on the gym and what you learn or train there. From a coaching perspective it can be very useful to have a special place for training purpose, especially when it comes to unfit people for which scalability is crucial in regard of incremental progress, confidence and safety.

@TraceurCMann What I train and coach, i.e MovNat, is a modernized, improved version of Methode Naturelle, which is the inspiration behind the birth of parkour by my friend David Belle. Now the origin of that method can be traced in France as early as 1820 so about 200 years ago. Yes Sir. It is a long story, actually it is physical education history, and very few people know about it.

@TheShp99 Yes I do stretch regularly, even though natural movement training itself does participate a lot in maintaining flexibility.

@phatfop I can be scared of course like anyone else sometimes, but I was not scared in this particular case, only intensely focused and vigilant. I know what I am doing.

@wolffrobbie1 There is no certified coach yet in Australia, despite there a dozens of people from there interested in the certification after both Men’s Fitness Australia and Men’s Health Australia released article about MovNat. So it is only a matter of time.
DVDs will allow you to get started with plenty of techniques and movement variations, drills, tips etc…such project takes time though, especially because MovNat is so broad, so please be patient.

love the way you move and the ease of your climbing! But you could work on your landings and rolls. Those looked to me as if a lot of weight goes into your legs…
Still your a rollmodel for me right now

@Aprinsa Bodybuilders have a totally different goal and have a preconceived and stereotypical idea of what their body should look like. I have a practical idea of how my body should move like and feel like, not look like.

@MovNat Ha, I agree with you. But I wasn’t merely referring to the outer shell of your body. I was thinking that your muscles look amazing in contrast to bodybuilders, who are focused on outer form more than anything.
