so is strength training more beneficial than cardio when it comes to weight loss?
i always thought that a person would want to lose weight first then tone up because of the muscle weight you could gain. wouldn’t that interfere with weight loss? I’m really shooting toward 2.5lbs (my plan: lots of cardio and 1200 cal daily) weekly and i don’t want to jeopardize it by lifting weights too soon. to be honest i could live without toning so long as i drop the weight.
Thanks Sarah!!!

which machine makes you lose weight faster: treadmill or elliptical? or are they the same (just depends on ur workout)? i usually run 2 mi on the treadmill, but the elliptical burns more calories in 2 mi also…so which is better?

The ending of the video was pretty funny, seeing you crawl to turn the camera off, that was cute. You are cute when you are a little sweaty, its all about hard work. Great Video Sarah.

@4countrygal4 Apparently if you do weights before cardio, you won’t feel the burn as much the next day from lactic acid because of the oxygen you are getting in during cardio.. I’m no personal trainer though!

You will NOT look like a body builder, but make sure you give yourself at least 2 days of rest a week!

@4countrygal4 Technically yes. I prefer to do cardio most of the time, but from a results point of view, it’s better to do weights first, My take is to do what works best for you. If you know you wont do cardio after a hard strength training session, then try doing it first.
