If you think it’s pointless, why did you chime in at all? So far one person tried to disagree with me on my views on the 2nd amendment, when I haven’t expressed my views on the 2nd amendment, and now you’re here arguing with me about it being a publicity stunt when you’ve just admitted that you agree it was a publicity stunt. Interesting.

The People don’t know their Rights because the government (public) schools have deliberately never taught them their Rights. They much prefer to allow Hollywood to depict gun ownership as something ILLEGAL. NOW THE CONSTITUTION, PEOPLE. They depend upon your ignorance of the Law to enslave you.

@cbreitel: WHERE in the text of the 2nd Amendment does it state that private firearms are NOT ALLOWED on Federal Property? If WE the PEOPLE are the owners of our government, as the media contends, then why CAN’T the People bear arms on Federal (citizen owned) property? They depend upon the People’s lack of knowledge of the Constitution to trick them into believing otherwise.

@cbreitel: The 2nd Amendment IS at play here, without a doubt. Governments at all levels have been working endlessly to dilute the true meaning, and the significance of the 2nd Amendment for many years now. “The Right of the People to KEEP, and BEAR ARMS shall NOT be infringed.”, says it all.

It says so in our federal statutes. If you don’t believe me, try taking your gun into the federal courthouse or other federal buildings in your city and see what happens.

If The government wanted your guns they would pass a health care bill for every one to participate in. With the growing ID theft in america they would eventually place a R-fid chip in every one to keep up with you. Evolve the banking system in it
