An almost identical advisory to the one being sent out can be read on page 22 of Citbanks Client Manual effective January 1, 2010, which can be read here from Citibanks own website. We reserve the right to require seven (7) days advance notice before permitting a withdrawal from all checking, savings and money market accounts. We currently do not exercise this right and have not exercised it in the past, states the manual. According to the Future of Capitalism blog, Citigroup originally claimed that the warning was only sent nationwide as a result of a mistake, but that the measures do apply to …

So frustrating when people who can’t even put their words together call in and waste time rather than letting people get better informed. ;P

Well the more technology that’s introduced to the public will obviously interconnect society to national security surveillance and other various secret agencies. That’s the price we pay when we incorporate the latest technology into our lives.

well I think its just from along the lines that many Christians have been brainwashed into believing 2 things… first Christians should just not get involved and Romans 13 “submit to your government.” of course they leave out that this only apply if the government is being honorable. Secondly, the reason I think they object is that they think Jesus was always this nice guy… failing to see confrontations he had with the pharisees the government leaders and when he cleared the temple.

Haha! I have never had something quite like that happen. I apologize for being rude, sometimes I just say things. What do the Christians object to exactly?

actually I was that caller… and I didn’t mean to blabber… I just kind of panicked as it was my first time on live air… and he said right before I went on that he wanted to get through calls quickly… so I panicked. I agree that was the best part in End Game, and my question was more what he would say to people (especially Christians) who object to this… as many I know do.
