Pro-Rove Attendant UT Shouts Police get here to Stifle First Amendment Exercise Jurriaan Maessen Infowars April 20, 2010 During the gross manhandling by at least four University of Texas Police Department officials of InfoWars reporter Aaron Dykes, exercising his First Amendment rights, several members of the audience encouraged arrest. One person is even heard expressing his hope that Dykes would resist arrest (which he clearly did not do), saying: Oh do it, please do it. Please do it, please please. Watch the clip from 1.12 onward: In the following clip- watch from 57 seconds onward- we hear one of the sheepish followers of war criminal Karl Rove shout: Police get here, come on!. www.youtube.com (Embedding disabled) Actually, comparing the mindless individuals calling for the police to get here and calling for Dykes to please resist arrest to sheep is an insult to the animal. What we have here is people so thoroughly propagandized in the course of their lives, that they no longer recognize free speech when they see it and, even worse, shout for the police to put a halt to the exercise of First Amendment rights. With slaves like these, the new world order can rest assured its agenda will be realized. www.infowars.com

The fact that he wants to have questions answered by queue cards makes me think that they pre planned the questions so they can pre plan the answers. It also says to me that they don’t like having people critique their position even though it may be perfectly valid…..talk about not letting people not have their free speech.

@JG1635 And it doesn’t matter how many times me and others have said that he had courage, did a good job, etc, you’re missing the point. We are past the initial praise of what happened and looking to how it can be done even better.

@onemindonespirit : LOL ..too funny, now Im being accused of nut swinging, you seem to be missing the bigger picture my friend.. the point is at least he got up off his ass and did something, whether it was effective or not, I dont know, for the mindless sheep that were there applauding a war criminal who has the blood of thousands of iraq women & children & US soldiers on his hands, probably not, but to the 2,659 people who have viewed this video, who knows. This is my final comment.

@JG1635 Could have been done a lot better. That’s all. In this instance, he reminded me of the “don’t tase me bro” guy who was just ranting. Standing up and just shouting takes courage but isn’t effective to the public. Obviously everyone in there was just laughing at him. Hope he takes a second look at his approach. What’s your big issue anyway? You really seem to be swinging on the sack of this guy.

@survivalstuffonline : Yes, that is what Im getting at. Just like a team, each player has been put in a different position based upon his/her abilities. A baseball player doesnt hit it out of the park everytime at bat, but if he keeps practicing & stays focused there may come a day when the games on the line, bottom of the 9th, his teams down by 3, and he hits a grand slam. Aaron may have had a case of the nerves & came up short this time, but at least he stepped up to the plate.

@survivalstuffonline :Yes, we are all on the same team, so why is it you insist on smugly referring to the minds of those who may disagree with you as irrational? Get over yourself my friend, theres more then one way to skin a cat. Some of your points are valid but they are not the be all & end all of whats effective. We have all reached a crossroads where its time now to lead, follow or get out of the way. Whether you agree with his actions or not, fact is Aaron took on a leadership role.

@onemindonespirit : How do you know it wasnt effective? We’re all here talking about it arent we? The video has been seen by thousands of people hasnt it? So you have a special insight into the minds f everyone at that event & who has watche the video on youtube? My criticism towards you was also constructive, simply put it was to not criticize others for trying to protest & speak out against a wrong unless you yourself have done better.

I called the police stations to urge them (very politely) to release you (a jailed journalist). One of them called me back, although I didn’t leave my name, and he left me a message telling me my name and where I live. I see this as a subtle threat from the police. I was totally polite… no threats necessary. I guess police are free to threaten people. They are the gods and we are the servants.

Who the F is Karl Rove that he gets to be so insulated and immune from questioning? He is nothing. These fatass unelected pukes think they are above the rest of us because they insinuate themselves into positions of power. This is the way despotism works, folks.

@onemindonespirit Now I’m seeing rational minds in these comments.
We are all here to to debate and help one another think through things more clearer. We are all on the same team as long as we don’t fight one another! Great job!

I’m all for AJ and what he brings to the table, but Aaron acted like an as**hole. What does he expect with an outburst like that?
He only makes himself look like a fool.

@JG1635 Ah I understand what your getting at. Everyone has something to give in this fight. Some people protest, other write the corrupt political leaders, some start debate within forums and comment sections to get others to think clearly and on the right track, what I’m getting at in your response is everyone is different and do different things, but were all on the same page. If you see a better way to guide someone, you should speak your mind. That is helping the fight. Peace

@JG1635 And what’s wrong with that? It’s called constructive criticism, and, one can make all criticism constructive. Don’t be offended. But standing up and just blurting things out is hardly effective. You’ve got to play the game just for a little to get in the door. Otherwise you’re just a loudmouth who gets instantly arrested.

@onemindonespirit : Great idea, next time Karl Rove is in your area doing a speaking engagement thats exactly what YOU should do. Remember to video tape it and put it on youtube so others can tell you how you could have done it better.

@AlterEgoTrip: The average American lives in a fantasy world spoon fed propaganda everyday & believes we’re the worlds moral compass, we’ve become an arrogant, spoiled, privileged, obese, unworldly, self-righteous, entertainment addicted, dumbed-down, uneducated populace that doesnt give a shit about the rest of the world as long as we have cheap gas for our SUVs & American Idol & our favorite Sports team on TV & Starbucks coffee & Beck, Hannity & O’reilly or CNN telling us how to think.

I appreciate what he did but you have to be smarter than this. Of course they are going to arrest you the moment you speak out. Of course they are going to charge you with disruption. Because that’s what you did. I would have acted like I was going to read one of their pre selected questions and then ask a real one. Sure, you would probably get arrested after that, but it would be a much more compelling charge against THEM rather than just standing up and shouting.

@survivalstuffonline : Its all good my friend, you can call me bad names if you wish, I promise you it will not affect me. LOL. No disrespect intended, but as my original message said, if you have much “better ways of spreading knowledge” that are so clever and “outside the box” then by all means DO IT, dont talk about here, go and DO IT. My point is that people sitting back doing nothing have no right to critique Aarons protest, at least he did SOMETHING.

@survivalstuffonline : If youre trying to sound intellectual youre failing, if we’re going to judge people by their comments then I would say yours show you have no spine or balls required for confrontation, but only criticize others without thinking about reality, not some foolish analogy. How about you crash my birthday party with your mother in tow crying & yelling how I raped & murdered your sister, then do you highly doubt none of my “friends” would question my character?

@survivalstuffonline : You sound like a pacifist & a sideline sitter. The time for civil discourse & polite debate & displays of “adult maturity” is OVER, thats already been tried and guess what.. it didnt work, if it did then USA wouldnt be in the mess we are now & those people wouldnt be cheering a maggot like Rove, its time now for guerilla tatics & to shout, fight & claw to wake people up from their propaganda slumber MALCOLM X style… BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
