Methylcobalamin is a very useful supplement for helping the body to restore damage to the nervous system. What it is not is something that provides energy. For that, you want a different B-12 supplement, Cyanocobalamin. The only other thing I would comment about this product is about Amazon for not listing the dosage, which is important and an oversight that should be corrected.

The purpose of sublingual has to do with people who have low stomach acid and cannot get enough from their food. These tablets taste good, though it does take a while for the tablet to dissolve (which probably makes sure more of the vitamin actually enters our bloodstream. For adults over 30 and those with B-12 anemia, this is the best way to take B-12 since our ability to absorb it through our food is diminished.

I’ve been taking this product for over a week and for what ever reason this tablet does not dissolve under my tongue. It has not reached its expiration date, so I’m rather perplexed. Now I crush it somewhat and place it under my tongue. I plan to try a different sublinqual brand. Before deciding on which type of B12 to take, I encourage you to read the book, Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses, also available on Amazon or possibly at your local library. This book has very valuable and interesting information.
