I bought my first Perfect Pullup two months ago and I love it. I recently purchased a second one for a vacation home. This product was simple to install, it is easy to use, and gives you confidence that it won’t break! I weigh over 200 pounds and this product holds my weight effortlessly as I do pullups without putting stress on a door like many other products. In addition, the product offers three great exercises. Lastly, most of this device can be quickly removed from the doorframe and stored under the bed.

Sadly, I couldn't even test out the darned thing.

First, I stripped nearly every screw that came with it, using a screwdriver first, then a drill.

I went to a home improvement store to get better quality screws.

Finally, I got the wall brackets in place, but the screws stuck out of the wall too much for the bar to attach to the bottom hinge. I have tried nearly every wood screw that 2 different stores have and all of the heads protrude just enough to stop the hinge from working.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS. 10 years of ordering online and this has been my worst experience! I attempted to order 1 perfectpullup on their site and when I got to checkout, it kept saying I was entering an invalid credit card number. I did this 3 times with no success so I ordered by AUTOMATED phone. First, I was charged $11.32 more than the website. I was given my charged amount at the VERY end of the recording AFTER my card was charged so there was no turning back.

The next day ALL THREE ATTEMPTED CHARGES from the internet showed up on my statement sending my banking account into overdraft!!!!!! I called customer service (sounded outsourced) and was told by KAY to fax my bank statement showing the charges (a legitmate company would have found the charges in their system) so I did. One day passed and the charges were still there. I called and spoke with KAY again. First, she had to go get the statement which she should have had anyway then HERE IS THE BIGGIE, she stated that it would take 3-5 business days to get the money back into my account!!!!! Here it is 2 weeks before christmas and I am completely broke with no money for gas or food for the next 3 to 5 days. I just wanted you to know so your christmas is not ruined.

Amazing Product! Simple Installation. Great Ab Workout w/ the straps. This along w/ the perfect pushup are 2 of the most effective, affordable pieces of exercise equipment you can buy (more bang for your buck). Beginner or advanced, simply terrific products.

This is more of an expression of gratitude to those who send in reviews; thank you. I saw the infomercials and was intrigued. I still am, but not enough to invest. Since I am conscientious about working out for health purposes I would be a frequent user. Because of the slams about the quality of the equipment, although I do like the concept, I’ll keep looking. Thanks again, for taking the time to voice your opinion. I used a single star to get attention and not as an appraisal of the apparatus.
