I live in the mountains of Colorado, and this is a good shoe for running on trails or grassy areas. It also has enough cushioning that it is fine for running on the street.
Asics is one of the very few brands I can wear as my foot, though normal width, is very thin and low volume. My foot swims in most brands no matter how tight I try to lace them up.
I’ve had great luck with Asics and appreciate the fact that they don’t vary in size or shape, as some shoes that are manufactured in various different Asian countries do. The size 9 is a consistent perfect fit for me.
