I’m sorry but is it at all possible for ANYONE — I don’t know… like the “Asics company”, to maybe place a freaking size chart explanation of whatever the f$@# “11 D(M) US” this means? Is this REALLY necessary? What, is just “Size 11″ not good enough? or Size 11 a, b, c, (for foot width size) which is how they USED to do it, before everything was made in China?
11 B(N) US, 11 D(M) US, 11 2E US,11 4E US what the hell is THIS supposed to mean? And why do I have to look it up on 5 different website? Not Asics website — of course not. No. Wikipedia and Yahoo Answer. It’s bad enough having to buy shoes for someone else, because of an accident, must this really take 40 minutes picking out a pair of sneakers?
I’ve already gone through all the trouble of seeing a special medical doctor and having him point out Asics as being “quality”, but they can’t even be bothered to place a NORMAL shoe sizing chart, or even an explanation of theirs? Come on, for the amount of money they want for “sneakers” the LEASE Asics could do is make a size chart or something. If you’re trying to have “cleaver” marketing to explain-away these ridiculous prices, you could make this processes less time consuming and tedious.

Purchased online after a bit of research. Had original pair purchased at chain department store; cherish these much more. Better quality, construction, overall feel. Fair price, and am overall very pleased with the product. Amazon’s shipping (while I am cheap and you get what you pay for) seemed a little long, also wasn’t tracked well by USPS (raise the price of stamps again)!

Actually I thought in one of the best running shoes; that probably was my mistake.
I found a very confortable and cushioning shoe but also very heavy, so I can use it only for trainning. When I have a race I’m still using my olds “Salomon” which are lighter.

I just bought these and haven’t yet run in them. I tried on the 2130s and although the 2130s looked better, I felt the 2140 had a bit more cushion. UPDATE – I’ve been running in these for several months and like them well enough. I think they improve my rate by 2-3 smoots per minute over my older pair.

I like these because the uppers breath easily, they’re light, and for their support. I wear orthotics for flat feet and they work well in these sneakers. I had GT-2130s before this so it was a seamless transition.
